C-Section: In some cases, a C-section is the best choice for the safety of both the mother and the child. At Mian OB/GYN & Associates, Dr. Rafiq Mian will provide the patient with detailed counseling and arrange the delivery at White Oak Medical Center. Our expert hospitalist doctors will be responsible for the delivery in the hospital. After delivery, Dr. Mian and Ms. May will manage follow-up care, focusing on incision healing and personalized postpartum support.

Normal Delivery: If you are planning a normal delivery or a scheduled induction of labor, our team will coordinate with the expert team at White Oak Medical Center. A group of hospitalists will manage your delivery. Upon returning to the office for postpartum care, the Mian OBGYN team will provide ongoing support.

For deliveries, we assist patients by coordinating and scheduling with Adventist White Oak Medical Center to facilitate delivery arrangements.

Although Dr. Mian is no longer performing deliveries, you will still be fully supported by our trusted team. We partner with the dedicated hospitalist physicians at Adventist White Oak Medical Center, a skilled group of doctors who specialize in labor and Delivery. They will care for you during your birth, ensuring your safety, comfort, and emotional well‑being.

After your baby arrives, you will return to our office for postpartum care. Mian OBGYN Associates will continue to support your healing and recovery with incision care as needed, breastfeeding guidance, emotional wellness support, and personalized follow‑up to help you feel strong, confident, and cared for.
